How often is it that a person stops to take time and consider what it would be like to live life in the dark? Even rarer, how often is it that a person has to live that life? For Roxas Peterson, that nightmare is all too real. Born with a rare condition causing him to lose 75% of his sight before adult-hood, Roxas has been subject to the abuse of bullies and discrimination alike for as long as he can remember. When entering High School, he expects no different and as such is surprised when he meets a boy whose dubious past enlightens him to Roxas' pain. His name is Axel and as far as Roxas is concerned, with him as a friend, he believes his days of being bullied are over. Or perhaps it is that the red head's presence is just a ploy for something much more sinister than Roxas has ever known...
